Since most of the fences did not have color themselves I took the pictures so that there would be vivid color to draw the eye. The four pictures above particularly take good advantage of this.

False Landscapes
I am very pleased with how the photos turned out. They are able to fool the viewer and at the same time remain very surreal and a little off.

I tried some different alteration with this photo the enhance the color and contrast, but the original unaltered photo still looked better than anything I could change.
When I was photographing this assignment I tried different soft and harsh lights to shoot my subject. I even hooked up a black light to give her shadow some color. I realized when I started to fool around with pictures on photoshop that the ones with the black light were much more interesting than the pictures altered to have color in the shadows.
Ultimately I did not use the black light photos because it made the shot too bright.
